Here's what we've been up to...

Cold Calling. Just the phrase sends shivers down your spine, doesn’t it?

Back in my day (I’m about to reveal how ancient I am, now.),

I recently attended (and captured on video) a women’s conference. The whole conference was about empowering women. I was probably one of only 3 men in the whole conference room filled with about 100 women. That’s an unfair balance of estrogen to testosterone, if you ask me.

But…I was not intimidated. Why?

We were recently hired to create promo videos for a women’s conference. Some of the presenters wanted their own promo video, as well. Whitney was one of those people.

When Whitney first took the stage, I could tell this would be an energetic promo. Full of movement and excitement in her voice, she captured the audience. They were enthralled!

As I was scrolling thru photos, I saw photos of our business trip to FL. Every year one of our best clients – International Society of Neuronal Regulation (ISNR) – hosts a conference somewhere in the US, but somewhere different each year. They have hired us to provide video services for this conference every year for the past 13 years! In Sept 2016 the conference was in FL.

Ah, Florida…the sweaty armpit of America.

Try to think of the last gala or awards dinner or benefit auction that you attended. Was it boring? Exciting? Mundane? Fun? Think for a minute about what things/people made it fun…what things/people made it boring or awkward?

Scroll thru your avg FB or twitter feed and what do you notice most? I notice a sea of videos and photos – the viral ones…the kind you seem to see EVERYBODY sharing or retweeting. They all have one thing in common – “shareability”. My spell check says that word doesn’t exist in the dictionary, but I’m betting it will be one day soon. Here’s why: when it comes to the difference between internet videos that are seen and those that no one knows exists, shareability is all that matters.
